I didn’t buy a motorbike. I didn’t start mountain climbing (I have to admit to having started jogging, though). But having arrived in the second half of my life I decided to start sharing stuff. Views I currently hold, insights acquired in the first half of aforementioned life, music I would like to point out to other people, ways in which I do things, quotes – that kind of stuff.
In no way do I claim to have come up myself with all of the insights you can find on my blog. Most of them I have picked up from books I’ve read, although I often cannot recall in perfect detail which insight comes from which source – and consequently a lot of those sources are not getting proper attribution (and can hopefully live with the comfort of the idea being spread just a fraction wider). I do try to keep track of the books I’ve read in a Goodreads list, so feel free to check that out.
Every single person has strengths. If you want to discover what some of yours are, look for things, skills, views that others consider to be exceptional while you yourself consider them to be perfectly normal and in fact anything but exceptional. As years have gone by, I have had this experience a number of times, so I reckon that there will be an interested audience for at least some of the topics I decide to share.
Why don’t you find out for yourself by reading some of the posts in this blog?

Blogging addictive? No problem, I figure one addiction added to the current stack will not make a lot of difference.
Congratulations a great blog, you surprised me
Thx, glad you liked it 🙂
